Not really VC but I think you would miss the fridge.
I have also done my time in Fords and overall the experience was a good one.

VC I would say no it's not wrong!!

Was in derbyshire yesterday having lunch and parked next to us was a blue RS. Couldn't help thinking about owning one. I think it's an ich I may need to scratch in the future.

Aren't those 19"s?
If so, then the car must be huge. The wheels don't look that big 'in the flesh' which is strange.

They are a very "loud" looking car, and i think i wouldnt want to own one. Its a very Big Car!!, wide and quite tall in comparison when parked next to the Golf.

....

Fast but feels like a van to drive and, in white, looks like a ferry boat.

Lacks quality.

You might say it's equivalent to a good one-night stand and def no more

My mates RS looks huge next to the Cupra (try to find some pics).

Nice car but cheaper and better ways of getting 300hp+.

So overpriced IMO. 2p.

There is a guy with a blue one around my way, seriously modded, slammed, anthracite wheels, huge intercooler and massive exhausts! It does look ok but the guy who drives it looks like a respectable middle aged man, he looks like a complete tit in it

....*cough!* I've always thought of myself as respectable and I'm at least middle aged.

Probably best not to judge a book by its cover.

What £25K is not alot compared to seeing golf GTD's at £27k(fully spec'ed but still) and a Golf R at £37k thats overpriced :rolleye:

I could probably spend a 1/3 of that £25k though and buy a cheap ST and build an RS eater but I just got fed up of my ST with the petrol going in every few days and the driving position was very poor :surprised: The seat was far too high.

Not judging at all Robin but personally I would feel too old to be driving an RS and im only just 22! Far too shouty for me! I love the S3/GTI's because they are exteremly subtle which is what its all about for me!  :happy2:

.... I feel too old to drive an RS too! I hope no-one saw me driving that ferry-boat van white one recently.

I see quite a high number of people of around my age driving Mk5 GTI's - It always surprises me.

I was down at the 4x4 garage last week and in comes this old dear, well into her 80's... stooped over asking for a fuse for her alarm on her car, the lads sorted her with one and she toddles off outside

climbs back in her Golf VR6 and leaves at pace!  :congrats:

according to the lads she was a previous world champion driver  :notworthy:
