Title: New Server Testing Help
Post by: SteveP on May 03, 2010, 12:38:50 pm
Please let me know what you are running at home/work (i.e. PC/Mac, ISP and Browser Type).

I want a few different variants to help test before we complete the move to the new server  :happy2:

Running XP, and chrome at work, sat on a Dark Fibre running at 1Gbps to our own BGP internet service, with multiple up-streams and LINX peering, so I can test based without involving ISP infrastructure.  (we supply similar bandwidth to O2)

And at home I have a Vista 64 bit PC which runs chrome or a netbook running XP and Chrome on Virgin Media 10Mb cable.

Out of interest who do you host the server with, then I can look into who they use as there up-stream providers.

I've got access to Win7, WinXP and have Virgin Media at home, can also tether O2 and T-Mobile to my laptop for a couple of other ISP tests :)
Also have IE 6,7,8

Either Win7 with Firefox/Chrome/IE or OSX with Firefox/Safari. Also running Ubuntu and Windows Server 2008 if that helps at all.
ISP is BE Broadband - Let me know if I can help.
