holy sh*t, that is incredible!!!

The bullets took three seconds to reach the target after leaving the barrel.

Thats some pretty impressive stuff!

That's pretty damn good. But there is a fair old helping of luck at that range (had a former Army chap explain some rifle ballistics to me a few years ago, shortly after the Canadian set the record. The Canadian's bullet fell by 40 feet during that incident!). Still outstanding.

For about thirty years (before the Canadian) the long-standing record of over 3,000feet was set by an American, a Green Beret IIRC, in Viet Nam. He used a .50 cal mounted on the back of a jeep for that one!

Ever fancy being a Special Envoy Matt??

The gunman got what he deserved for aiming his gun at one of our guys imo :fighting:

/always in for a spot of political trolling

The gunman was more likely than not trained by the CIA when he was one of the "good guys" fighting the Soviets. I presume when the Sovs were shooting at him he was also getting what he deserved.

//still an outstanding shot; three confirmed hits at that range (two guys, one on the ppk) is nothing short of incredible. Accuracy Intl should take that rifle back and examine it!

i have family in the army and one is part of the M.o.d so i am only saying people have died and its not something to say  :congrats: on as it goes both ways when our guys get hurt or killed its not good for any country when people die fighting for what they believe in
