...driving back home. Drove along the same route I've taken for the last two months. Took the same corner I took the last 40 days in the same way except I pressed the gas pedal a little harder.
Next thing I know, the front end's on the other side of the road and the back end has drifted out. Quickly corrected the skid and carried on as normal, perhaps a little more cautious than usual.
Road wasn't any more wet than it had been and I took the corner at the same speed as when there was frost on it (only 30mph).
Not sure whether it was a proper skid or whether the back end just came out, since there were no skidding noises from the tyres.

Sounds like a diesel spill. They can be lethal those fuel spots in cold wet conditions. :scared:

Never a dull moment in your life is there Stealth? :scared:

Yeah was going to say, sounds like a spill of fuel.

Unfortunately not. Sometimes a guy just wants peace and quiet. Wonder whether it's safe to venture out and get some petrol. That tank's damn thirsty.

Stealth, the fuel tank is only as thirsty as the owner who loves to drive it :happy2:

Sooo true. I filled her up to the brim and then had difficulty not flooring it every opportunity I got. I don't know how I'm gonna make the tank last the rest of the week, especially since I've got a trip up north.
