Title: Over priced!

Well I was going get my refurbished Monzas fitted today but apparently the valves I need are unique and can only be purchased from VW at wait for it.......

FIFTY TWO F-ING POUND!!!

Fifty two pound for four bloody valves is obscene and for that price they should be gold plated. Not to mention it means I can get my wheels fitted until tomorrow so mighty unhappy.  :fighting:

They're re-usable. Take them off, refurb, replace  :happy2:

The old ones were knackered. All the rubber seals had gotten perished after living in my shed for 12 months. I'm still reeling from the shock!

Metal bolt-in valves can be obtained from other sources - but there are various sizes.  OEM valves are about 14 quid each  :surprised:

To the OP - maybe ask the refurber to <cough> swap them for the Ronal Monza 2s which had traditional rubber snap-in jobbies.  :wink:
