Title: CW edition30
Post by: craigy123 on May 05, 2010, 09:15:55 pm
I get my 08 plate candy White edition30 on the 16th of may  :jumpmove: :jumping: :jumpmove: I cannot wait!!! It's got an adjustable map from star performance I believe it's a GIAC one, a Remus standard look back box ( might be up for sale shortly as I'm after a full miltek) and a S3 filter set up I believe. It's just gone through 9,000 miles and hasn't got a single mark on it that I could find, not even a stone chip  first thing up is a set of sportlines them save save save for some more goodies I think.

Nice one well done.  :pomppomp:

would you like this as a members intro or a start of a members rides or were you so happy you just wanted to tell the world.

Would be a good start to a members rides/ build thread.  :happy2:

I'll just leave it as a tell the world thread just now until I pick her up and get some pictures. It's a very clean car. The owner hardly has ever had it out in the rain  :rolleye: he just lives round the corner from my girlfriends house and I'm mates with his son. And by chance in the passing one day I asked him if he would sell me it, 2 days later u had a deposit down. He gets his rising blue mk6 "R" the second week in June.

Cheers for that. I've been on here since feb I think. Mostly in the detailing area, can't beat a mega clean car :jumping: I can't wait to get my hands on my new car.

Have you flogged the ibiza mate?
:sad1: yes mate, sold her the end of last month, I'm missing it alot!! I was going to try and keep it too, but just couldn't justify it. Was a sad day to see someone else driving it away. I got pretty good money for it though, which all went towards the new purchase  :jumpmove:

Sounds like the 16th is going to be a proper  day for you mate. You better get saving though if you're thinking about spending time on here, as there are a lot of people on here that are a bad influence with regards the slippery modding slope.  Myself included..

Look forward to the pics and intrigued about the S3 filter as AFAIK they are the same set up as the Ed30 . Unless the previous chap had a after market intake added of course which would be a bonus..  :jumping:

Is it possible he means S3 IC?

The plan is for a full miltek and downpipe hopefully then an intercooler of some sort. It has an aftermarket filter set up, I was told it was for an S3. I don't want to plan ahead too much, will just need to see how I get on.

I've not had mine long and I wanted a white one but they were all 08s around £18k. And with 9K miles i'll be surprised if yours in any less.
