Title: Bit of a change!

Hi guys iv just bought myself a mkV GTI 3dr in black should be picking her up this weekend or monday. :smiley:
Its a bit different as ive always had land rovers and have come over from some of the landy forums!
Really pleased iv found a friendly forum with lots of info for new owners like me!

You should find the handling a bit better on the GTI, compared to the Landrover.
Dont forget pics a compulsory once you pick her up.  :wink:

Thanks guys! im hoping the gti will use alot less fuel and spend alot less time in the garage than the landy! my last landy was chipped up to 180bhp so used to drink rather enthusiasticly!it also liked to chew through transmission parts!

Just arranged to pick the gti up on saturday morning  :happy2: so will post photos and first thoughts/questions then!!

looking goood in black, i went on a landy forum once (got a range rover sport) and they shot me down straight away  :laugh: cant remember why but never went back  :grin:

i can just make out the RaRo in your sig pic now! nothing wrong with a sport the electric gizmos make it very capable! i didnt get along with some of the landy forums as liked to do things differently! theres a few good ones out there though! (pm me if you want details!)
Got a long journey from berkshire to newark tomoro would have dreaded it in the landy but looking forward to a long trip in the GTI!
