This is the main reason I'm too scared to go anywhere near the engine bay with my hosepipe.

spray on G101/APC wipe off, blast of finish job done 20mins and no hoses required.

i never clean the engine bay with anything other than a rag

my landy on the otherhand... goes swimming all the time  :grin:

Cheers for that.

When I cleaned my engine bay just after I got the car, I took off what I could to hose it, the rest I just used a damp cloth. It's all probably under a bonnet away from rain for a reason
