Title: ED30 Wheels
Post by: scooba on May 11, 2010, 05:50:54 am
Hi ,does anybody know the correct paint colour for the ed30 wheels, I have just bought a lovely 9,000 mls one lady owner Red ed30 but the two wheels on the kerb side have had some kerb damage,The dealer is having them sorted before collection but if i aint happy does any one have a good place to send them.

Leepsons have been recommended to me before and so has Spit and polish but i havent used either , I have used wheel wizard and wheel works and was quite impressed with the work on m BMW and Mini alloys

Does anyone have one wheel for sale

Does anyone have a super mint set for sale

How about just one Rim so i can have a spare in case of puncture

Any help with my ramblings would be great  TIA Scooba

Edition 30 wheels are a right twat to get a proper colour match for. Don't even think VW have the correct paint code or even a touch up stick.

You cant get a match and a new wheel is around £380!! and probably wont match with your other wheels.

Why do you think my wheels are black! so fed up with trying to colour match a small scrape.

Yeah best getting a full refurb to a more matchable colour. Bit of an expensive option but the only way to get the perfect. Caught one of mine the first week I had it  :fighting:
