Hi All
Looks like the rear brake pads need replacing before it goes in for a service next month.
Just wondering if it's a right or left tool I need before I go buy the wrong one
Thanks in anticipation.

I dont know if it's the same for the rears, but my front pads have been in and out more times than Jordans tits recently, and i have not needed a rewind tool. Even when i pressed the brake when they were off, Stokeballoon got them back pretty easily just using a bar and something to lever against. He is good though is our V8 Dave. :happy2:

Cheers TC
Done the fronts. Replaced discs too soon after I bought the car.
Looked on other posts, the tool is clockwise. So I assume right hand thread.
Knowing my luck and assumption being the mother of all c**ck-ups best to ask first.

I was looking to by one myself, but everyone i asked said dont bother.

to do rears you will need 1 and i think from memory they are leftt handed thread . but they are all the same

Just found out.
Most cars Inc VW are Right Hand Thread (clockwise)
Some French cars are Left Hand Thread.
Hope this helps.
