Title: s3 intercooler screws part number
Post by: flyboy1976 on May 13, 2010, 07:54:51 am: im considering an s3 intercooler upgrade, could someone provide me with the correct part numbers including the illusive m6 x16 screws that ive read are required.thanks in advance :notworthy:

Post by: vRStu on May 13, 2010, 08:06:30 am: I just used some from Screwfix. Stainless Steel in a bag of about 25 IIRC and very cheap.

as Stu says, nip down to your local fastener place/screwfix and but some stainless allen screws, looks far more professional too. Don't forget the stainless washers too!

Post by: flyboy1976 on May 21, 2010, 09:50:45 am: thanks stu, i got some screws from vw in the end but there is def a problem with ETKA as it gives out the number for those screws on an audi s3 as torx 30 self tapers, which is bad considering the intercooler comes with m6 threads!
