I quite like it aside from the fact Ive never liked the addidas logo visually.

My mate works at Adidas HQ in Nuremburg as a Marketing Manager. I don't think he's had a hand in this though.

They all have BMWs as company cars.

i just wondered if there was something more obvious for the partnership, maybe a sponsorship deal somewhere?

I like it. Not 100% on the wheels, but it's quite subtle in execution.

I reckon it all matches in well too, the GTI logo is pretty iconic and Adidas have a bit of a cult following for their classic designs too.

Some people look down their noses a bit at Adidas gear in the UK because places like SportsDirect sell some Adidas lines which are worn by inbred street corner hanging cheep beer swigging scum, but that doesn't make a case for the rest of the world where their image may well be different.

As above, VW have done plenty more dodgy limited editions before now
