Hi Everyone..

Just found this amazing Site so much information on the mk5 gti i love it..

I am going to modify it but not really 4 performance but for its look as i like the look of them sitting on there ass with sum phat ass rims on..

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.. First of all i want to stop as much movement as i can of the engine with upgraded engine mounts as iv had 2 have warrenty work on my car due to the engine coiver brackets snapping due to engine movement! it has happend 3 times.. I think it was from the torque of the re-map but since i havent had the map on its been fine so i need to sort the movement out and then get the map back on...

Heres wat i want to do to the car..
Kw V2 Coilovers.
upgraded engine mounts.
anti lift kit think its called WALK or sumink..
full non-res miltek.
some colour coding.
19" split rims with stretched tyres.
phat ass stance.
Hid kit or Xenon conversion.

had the same issues myself with snapped cover fixings! on std that was , now mapped.
Like you i reckon moving to VF/VWR engine mounts is the only way to tie down this engine 'flap'

My car is going in to paint this week and is havin KW v1s fitted with adjustable top mounts.. Cant decide if i should put my RH crosslines on or my Works VS XX... Also havin a few other minor mods done..

Any 1 know were i can get a undrilled front grille from??

My car will be inside at ultimate dubs on the players stand..

matt a has an undrilled grill unless hes sold it.

Today we done a trial fit with 1 of the works wheels.. Defently goin for the works they sit perfecty..

Cheers Gezza!  :drinking:  Thats why i bought this car was for the seats..

They are 8.5 by 19s all round but the rear offset is different so i can have a bigger dish on the back..

i forgot wat the et's are as im dnt rele understand all about different ETs lol.. Im new 2 all this modding..

I love Dish !!

I dont have any more pics of the wheels on the car but i will have some on sat as the car will be ready for ultimate dubs..

do you think Gold will go ok with silver? Im a bit yes and no but i think it be different..

Not much help Ash but the main company for this is German, if you do a search on the Yank golfmkv.com i am sure you will find a supplier, there not cheap either.  :smiley:

Not much help Ash but the main company for this is German, if you do a search on the Yank golfmkv.com i am sure you will find a supplier, there not cheap either.  :smiley:

I know TC im having trouble sourcing it..  im waiting on a price from tunig werkes but he said they r not cheap but should be sorted for ultimate dubs..

TC i alredy have a spare bonnet with the filled notch...

Iv got someone who will make me a de bagded grille but after UD's..

Update on the car..

Walk kit and undrilled grille will be here 2mz.. Also a regak front splitter but will have that next week hopfully before UD's..

Cant wait to pick her up saturday and have a complete different car!
