I think my lovely daughter or one of her "charming" little friends has popped something into the vent in my centre console arm rest. When I brake or accelerate it rolls around. Sounds like a ball bearing loose....
At first I thought it was something in the CD, removed that and eliminated that from my investigations. I thought it may be one of the ball bearings in the arm rest but it makes no difference if the rest is vertical or horizontal. I actually removed the rest from the unit and the same noise persisted. I therefore think that there is something rattling around in the vent or the tube that links the front to the rear.
Is there a link somewhere for the vent removal from the console. Not exactly serious,...but hey it is starting to bug the cr@p out of me. :fighting:
Hopefully when I get it out of wherever it is it is still edible at least...prolly one of those millions, there are hundreds of them in a packet....

Sorry for resurrecting such an ancient thread, but I have exactly the same problem of something rolling around and rattling like hell!
no golf clubs at all: Did you ever find the source of your rattle bud? as everytime I go around a roundabout I can hear something in mine!
Cheers
Matt :happy2:
