Title: Anyone with a Mk5 GTi/ED30 with Eibach springs?
Post by: PDT on May 20, 2010, 08:07:16 pm
If so, and you have 5 mins and a tape measure handy, could you do us a big favour and measure the gap from the centre of the wheel (front and back) to the arch lip in a straight line (90 degrees to the floor) and post  these measurements in CM.

Car needs to be on a level surface as well  :happy2:

Thanks :)

That helps a lot, would appreciate a measurement from centre of wheel to arch if someone could get me one, trying to resolve a problem on a customers car.

I've had a problem with Eibach springs in the past causing a real difference in ride height front to rear, at first we thought it was the Koni FSD dampers, and Koni even re-valved the rears to cure it and it turned out it was a bad batch of Eibach springs that was lifting the rear

thats not to say I think Eibach are a bad spring, quite the opposite to be honest
