Took the new toy out for some air to day.
I guess some of you will be straight onto Autotrader after seeing some of these.  :grin:

Love Lancias.  :love:  There is not one of that first batch i wouldn't be proud to own. Nearly bought one once, and decided on a RS2000 last minute.  :smiley:

i love these, especially when they have the rally spot lights on them

My mate had a Beta coupe when we were at college. It was immense performance considering we were only 18/19. Eventually the old tin worm got the better of it and the rear shocks pushed through and ended up resting on the boot lid hinges.  :surprised:
Dropped it off up the scrapyard only to see it back on the road 3 weeks later.  :surprised: :surprised:

Mate who was a Painter in RAF had  stunning red beta coupe washed it most weekeneds, got rid of it for a silver Volumex Coupe, several weeks later the local Lancia dealerships mechinics wrote it off for him racing back to the garage whilst on a road test!!!. Anyway the dealers managed to source him an even better red one... :smiley:

Thommo and myself were only 18/19 at that time too... :happy2:

It was quite an interesting couple of hours spent there.

Nice selection of cars in the pits including a Gamma coupe and Thema turbo but sadly no Thema V8. :sad1:

Looks like a great event, a mate of mine had a Lanci Beta Volumex (Supercharged) went well, but very noisy. The Lancia Thema V8, nice car (Great Ferrari 3.2 engine with Ferrari emblazoned on the rocker covers).

During 2002/2003 I helped my some of my friends in the services by doing secruity at the Festival of Speed. Had a great time, mooching around looking after F1 Stars (Like Jenson Button) and Montoya. Also got to speak to Sir Stirling Moss & Sir Jackie Stewart (Good old boys), even got to drive Ralf Schumacker to his helicopter pad in a Golf buggy (he liked my drift :-)). I also had a chance to drive my car up the hill (sadly it was a company car; Ford Focus Diesel at the time  :driver:

I have got some photos somewhere, will have to dig them out.
