i went up to skelmersdale and being the numpty cheapskate i am i took an ebay molded r32 bumper with me.....ooops wrong!
i give amazing credit to nigel leeming and dave pike esp at blueflame...nigel spent an hour and half on a drive trying to source me a correct bumper but to no avail..... so two weeks later i returned with the right stuff....

its an osir front spoiler mate-check out RR's thread and his foglight one too- he is rather good at reveiwing stuFF!
it comes with the two outer peices and then you can buy two different centre "splitters" ive had both mine water transferred with carbon effect- RR has the genuine carbon articles.
try here....

hi mate
i got the lm reps off guy on here robkn i believe.
yeah they are 19s. but in hindsight ,that wonderful thing i would have gone with 18s so i can get a better size tyre cos altho i oouve the stretched look, its a pain keeping my eye out for potholes etc and i dont feel i can reaaly chuck it around like i did with the 17 monzas to be honest!
18s will be on soon as i can afford some rubber!

The golf plus lights are a different size, these are specific for the MK5 the UK dealers just decided they didnt want them, so they are OEM European and US.  Which means you need to switch the fog and reverse light over to make them UK spec.

as title above says.... finally been able to put aside some funds to add a few new mods.
first the wheels and tyres...
rs4 reps and kumho ecsta thingys that i got for good price off illyun..
the ride is sooo much better on 18s and the fact these fit and arent stretched like the lm 19s.
they will be refurbed and either sold on on a big colour change and kept for sunday best lol.
..to follow, a service with a replacement DV... eichback arbs and inner arm bushes with anti lift..... and if i can wangle it... new front brakes or an intake upgrade....(gotta save or find a bargain :ashamed:
so after a 2 1/2 hour wash and wax.........

the carbon badges are water transfered and laquered bypaul at pmg motors in billericay essex.
pm me for his details if you need anything done. his paintwork has been really good. would def recommend to anyone is essex.he is going to do the next few bits for me in the next fortnight.

Post by: matsu on September 02, 2010, 10:28:38 am
thank you.
its a std lower diffuser section that has been water transfered with carbon print and then laquered so its as tough as the rest of the paintwork,
i,m glad i have had some thumbs up.
she certainly turns heads, although i wonder if dk wheels will diminish that impact.
i,m contemplating gloss black tho, greeners car always looks that extra bit spesh and i think its the wheels that give it the killer edge.

There is a process whereby you can transfer a carbon effect print onto whatever you want by "water transfer" process. The item you want the print on is dipped into water which is already impregnated with the carbon effect transfer, when the item is dipped the transfer sticks to the item and then you can laquer it to seal it onto the item. :happy2:

the plan in next few weeks...
hopefully 3"DP going on this afternnooon or at very latest tomo.
pick up evoms engine cover from mr greeners at UD.. this centre panel and the battery cover will be carbon dipped but not till next week as the company cannot do and wont rush it bu the wkend(sorry big al)
and i,m afraid thats it for a few months.

BUT.... i have the uprated internals for the fuel pump. i need to save for the intercooler and stage2+ software so be prepared for me to bug the hell out of you as i research all that jazz

then.....long term plans ... alphards and coils.
i know they are said to be played but i have to have a set in my life!!!!

more pics to follow next week as i add the shiny stuff!!!
fanx for listening, and esp a few of you i have pestered for advice over the past few weeks

Agree with Matt about the chrome, but other than that!  :notworthy: :notworthy:

Fair play geeza, you've taken your time and knew what you wanted and got out there and done it!!  :congrats:

Liking the new front end, I think that is the only grille that suits the de-badged front end  :happy2:

Agreed mate. As far as a dabadged grille goes then yours and the r32 ones are the only ones that work.
Looking forward to seeing it all come together with the wheels and lows sorted too.

thanks guys
i was thinking of all black but i sorta like the little "smile" the chrome gives lol
but my original plan was/is to black the whole thing.
i have a few more plans so i hope in august to put out some really nice photos with some added touches!

how do you find the neuspeed intake? Was looking at them on the internet earlier, seem to come up a good £100 cheaper than the ITG. What noise does it give off? chatter like the ITG?

hi mate
not hear the itg to b honest. the p flo is noisy as in darth vader breathing.and def made the car feel more eager-esp now rmapped to stg2
downside for me-pain in ars heat shield to fit, and no air filter box to help direct the air to t :evilgrin:e cone from fron of car-have considered the extension pipe that takes cone to the back of fog light area-think its another 150 notes.
hope that helps........should have gone twintake lol but i still quite like look of the boy racer thing wen i open the bonnet....the twintake is very classy and sophisticated in comparrison, and i will eventually get one lol.
