Title: Red Edition 30 owner
Post by: Rado16v on May 24, 2010, 09:04:37 am
Hi,

We picked up our red 5 door Edition 30 2 weeks ago and really enjoying it, other than a small niggle we discovered this hot weekend (AC related I’ll raise this in the relevant section). Its 07 registration (March 2007) 1 owner and 16k miles, I don’t have the build number but will try (in vain from what I hear).

It has a few toys – sunroof, xenons, cruise, parking sensors. Not planning anything for it other than tinting the rear windows and fitting a child seat

Not new to the VW scene, have a black Corrado VR6 too and have had one before that for the last 10 years. Nice driving something newer and more solidly built but it’ll never sound like the VR :P, especially on start up – I thought it was a diesel when we first went to view. Will try getting some photo’s up.

Cheers

Slap a Aftermarket exhaust on it, and that'll improve it no end. DSG exhaust "Burp" sound is very addictive .

Best bet is to make contact with VW headquarters at Milton keynes to make sure your car is regestured to you and still not the former Keeper, to insure when the Plaque is dispatched, it goes to you instead.

Great car btw :drinking:
