Hi guys,
Newbie here, not actually a Golf owner, currently running a vRS Estate, but I have used a lot of advice from this site during the last few months so I thought I would join to make it easier!
Cheers, Lee.

If your coloured blind :signLOL:
I joined to take in all the details about this bloody de-cat from Hurdy's post and yours, I think the blueflame is the way forward, (if you have it off me when swmbo kicks off :scared:) although I have found one for 150 quid for an A3 2.0t fsi, but they reckon it doesn't fit the vRS?!
-
get up a new thread to see if it will fit mate. id need a months notice if you were to get rid of it mate, but i would have it
-

Welcome along, nice pics :drinking: oh and everyone knows that black is the fastest colour

Very Nice, and as Thor says Black is by far the fastest  Looks like you take quite an interest in detailing to would be interested in what you do, especially on your tyres which look great.

I have been trying Megs tyre gel its a nice product and I'm very happy with the results, no real spin off either, so the wheels stay clean for longer. As for the rest of the car I use a variety of different bits including Mezerna polish, with sonus/megs pads and a Kestrel DA polisher, and collinite 476 for the finish. Have you checked out detailing world? It's been invaluable for me. :happy2:

Ive not braved detailing world just yet, have just got to grips with the detailing section on here, and already spent a small fortune on cleaning! Looking at getting a DA, so will probably be checking out some of the advice on detailing world soon, and will have to try out some of that megs tyre gel, been using AG tyre dressing and its a mess to put on and doesnt last very well!

Plan on having a bit of fun with a mates Fiesta ST at the weekend, some little ....... has added a 12" key mark in his door, and he's happy for me to have a go with a touch up stick then a wet sand followed by a bit of polishing! :happy2:

Job done, come out better than expected!

Good work, do you have a before an after, and a small write up on what you did? I would be interested, as I have a 4-5 inch key mark under my fuel filler! :scared:
