Title: hiring bruntingthorpe proving ground or another strip for an event

cutting a long story short im setting up a new event, basically a rolling start alternative to the quarter mile, which will be much better solution for our FWD cars...

I dont want to comercialise the event too much but just have a nice day out with loads of cool / fast cars, some music and a few stands etc

now im looking to hire somewhere, so if anyone has any suggestions or knows a decent place or can offer a hand i would be very greatful

Got a few near me, eg Bovingdon Airfield which was used for a 200mph run event last year but i cant seem to get hold of them again

waterbeach barracks rent out their airfield to track day guys and jap time trial events.

They hold "VMax" events at Bruntingthorpe.

Same as what you're doing I guess, I think they're on VMax 17 or 18 now.

no he just rocks up on them when they are there since he lives 2 minutes away.

Will give bovingdon another ing tomorrow matey, maybe they just go home earlier than everyone else does.

Although im liking what vrsy has come up with also.

Cheers pov and vRSy , cocopos this is not technically a vmax event its slightly different and i want it to be more of an event for people to attend and not just people to go to, if that made any sense atall lol its too early
