Hi All
As per header.
Just swapped over my wheels.
Took it for a test drive.
When I lift off there us a strange knocking sound.
Stops when turning and braking.
Think it's NSF but hard to tell.
Checked the wheel bolts.
Just wondered if anyone had an idea before the wheels come off again.
Cheers
Lee

Take it over to vw and have them diagnose the issue then see how much they quote you. Either take their offer or go somwhere else and then u no what ur dealing with....
Better safe than sorry mate

sometimes the tyres can grain and develope a stance pattern from your car and the way you drive it and weight distribution (think of wearing in some comfortable shoes that mould to your feet over time)
swapping the wheels upset that graining/wear pattern so the rubber is going to make a argument until theyre worn in again in the correct shape
hopefully that made sense, not always the case, but pretty common when swapping wheels around from front to back

Well it's new (refurb) Monza II and brand new rubber.
Trying to help elderly parents organise a funeral etc. Left car at their house and drove their car all afternoon.
Got back and rechecked the bolts. Couple were ever so slightly not as tight. Still bedding in.
Drove home, very steady about 4miles. All seems ok.
Going to see what tomorrow brings.
Could it be the suspension just setting?

do u have coilovers or springs or tht ??
