Hi all,
I have some problems starting my car lately. It's basically everytime the first time i start the car it takes him like 5 sec to start. Afterwards for every start it works just fine. I thought the battery might be the problem and need to be changed.
I have a photo while in ignition and the battery icon is red.
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg535.imageshack.us%2Fimg535%2F7022%2Fimag0004b.jpg&hash=892220f0c8e345ad72fc6f6671f61c131db48903) (http://img535.imageshack.us/i/imag0004b.jpg/)
Does the battery need to be changed asap ?
How much does a battery cost + labour?

The red icon is meant to be there, a battery usually costs around £100 for a genuine VW one.

yeah the battery icon is there until you start the car, have a read of this thread it maybe the common (with some cars) cold start issue :happy2:
