Title: Best allignment settings
Post by: wizzo on May 30, 2010, 11:47:14 pm
Hey guys, i wanted to ask about allignment :)

I am on AST race coilovers that were built for the GTI cup cars here in the United Arab Emirates :) I purchased them from the owner of a former race car, in the fron the camber is not adjustable and is set at 2.9 which i am happy about :) i want to know what i should do for the rest :) the car is my little track monster + daily driver, i cant do anything about the tire wear on front :D but i want to continue and decide on the rest of my settings before getting alligned next week, to begin with i dont want to run to much toe, because from past experience it really chews at the tires, so what should i have it set at? and for the rear camber? what should i set it at remembering the front is 2.9 :) any advice is highly appreciated :)

i say take it to a garage whohave knowledge of motorsport setps etc as they will be abl eto advise you of different settings for differnt driving styles etc.

give wheels in motion or centre of gravity a try, these guys have a highly renowned reputation for being excellent.
