Another 'decent' OEM quality DRL kit hits the market...
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.powerbulbs.com%2Fimages%2Flarge%2Fpackaging_and_lights.jpg&hash=f8bbdfc9a4d44e7b7b60cc6453982a336b4738d7)
The Hella option might suit the GTI better as they fit (more or less) in the fog light housing. These will in theory be a better option for R32 owners due to their shape and size and the R's slatted grills. The are also much smaller and discreet than the S6 option, which IMHO look  They also shouldn't need any cutting and modification to the grill and bumper.

FYI, Power Bulbs are now also stocking a range of Philips LED bulbs for number plates and interior use - finally, no more cheap eBay rubbish!

holy sh*t that costs a bomb!
i can understand that a good quality kit with proper components manufactured in a place with ISO standards etc to cost a bit more, but thats a LOT of money for some LEDs!

I thought they were really well priced... You get what you pay for.

no no, your right!

^^^^
Those Philips aren't expensive - My Hella monkey-lights cost just over £200.
As Dolly Parton, or was it Mae West, said: "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap!"
I'd like to see pics of a mk5 GTI with these Philips installed to see what they look like and where positioned.
