Title: how to remove black bit under grill??

As title suggests, was wondering how you go about removing the gloss black bit under the front grill the bit that the reg plate sits on?
I am sure there is a more technical name for it, lol.
also is the gloss black door pillar things removable aswell?

any advice appreciated.

There's four screws, two philips and two torx. Then lift forward and upwards. The entire thing - grille/badge/etc can be separated.
