.
Absolutely stunning!

It's weird how BMW either get their styling either absolutely spot on or total crap.

Nice find, Ben  :drinking:

Wonder what it looks like in the real world (outside), looks great in the showroom lights - as do most things.

I saw it on a car parked outside the Ringwerks gaff. It does shine surprisingly, bit like brushed stainless does and seems to change shade from silver to dark grey. Very strange, but cool.

It was clean and in the sunshine though, what it looks like dirty and full of British winter salt & sh*te I don't know.

Looks amazing. Would prefer to see it on some CSL wheels though - I really don't like the standard M3 wheels, especially in gloss black.

When I first saw an M3 in the UK it was a bright silver one and it evoked thoughts of a tiny spaceship.
When I saw another one in white, that didn't change; and this one continues the theme.

Tiny spaceships are good, by the way.

[flamesuit on]

dont like the rims, dont like the colour  :chicken:

love the car though  :pomppomp:

that paint unless showroom clean is going to look sh1t the moment it gets dirty, all that subtle flipping will vanish with some road film on there and it will just be a dull grey

there are nicer colours  :innocent:

LOVE that colour!

I saw it in the flesh a couple of weeks ago and it really is nice. It seems to have a pearlescent greyish paint that has a matte layer on top, and so in the sun it kind of changes colour. Very hard to describe, but suits it so well.

I'm thinking it will be a wet spray paint then an opaque vinyl layer on top. Could be wrong though

No I dont think its vinyl, a few years ago there was a BMW press release about them wanting to sell cars in these type of colours and said it would be available 2-3 years down the line and that was about 3 years ago.

No, its paint. It's a matte finish lacquer.

I've also recently seen some long term test results on the film used on the RS500...

It looks alright, but it doesn't make me go wow. The E92's that do are the black on black ones, they are just
