I was trying to keep them a secret! :P
VW Crow Road do the standard servicing on my car and I use A4Audi for the inevitable 'recommended' work when the car comes back out.
They really are excellent - I had a massive job done 2/3 months ago that VW wanted nearer £600... A4 Audi... £270! :pomppomp:
I believe the user 'No golf clubs at all' also visits them.
PM me if you want more info.

:star: ta-da!!!
Yep I have used them, found them to be very good actually...I think their chief Mechanic may be called Andy, knows his stuff and what he doesnt know he has an excellent network of VAG people to talk to.
I am due a service soon, so I will be going there for sure...better service, genuine parts and realistic rates.
Thing I most like about places like this is you get personal service...and if there are ever any warning lamps on they will hook up vagcom for free and tell you what needs done (if anything) for free....unlike the big boys who will charge you £60 whilst you sit in the lounge drinking machine coffee or worse take your ride for a day for a 5 min check. (tossers).

The younger guy is called Andy, and there's an older chap called Keith............ or it's the other way round!
Either way, they really know their stuff and unlike the big boys, they LISTEN... the free vagcom hook-up is superb too.
Seriously, the experience is night and day to main VAG garage, can't recommend enough.
They can look after your BMW's too, should you fancy an M3 next....................

aye good stuff iv got my car booked in for new pads and will also get them to do my other work if all is well,
ha, dont even tempt me, i was just at the gym there and came to the conclusion that the only thing i would consider when the golf goes considering budgets etc is an e46 M3
