What model are you after? Could a 5 foot 9 person fit in the back?
I played with a 996 turbo on sunday, car bellowed like nothing I heard before, presume it was running stock boost though as only barely faster than the k1, albeit it was a short play in 3rd only.

i was out in one the other week with the exhaust done and k+n fitted plus it was mapped to around 350bhp ish and the noise was :drool: and the drive is nothing like a Golf its a sports car :laugh: and trust me the 996/997 turbo would destroy our cars ie 60 to over 100 is like under 2 secs or something :laugh:

When you say a play in 3rd, do you know what gear he was in? It should by rights toast you.
The rear is tricky unless you're very small, I'd say it was for short journeys and kids only.

After doing a few laps of the Ring in a friend's GT2 CS that'd just come back from Manthey, I can confirm they are indeed frightening cars.

Full race exhaust, DMS re-map and a few other toys. 550bhp and i can confirm it leaves 2.0tfsi's for dust! :laugh:

No idea what gear he was in, he was bullying some poor chap in a audi TTS, and at first I didnt know where the almight bellow was coming from, i thought it was a bike or something but then clocked it was him, caught up, the TTS moved out the way and we both gunned it, when I changed to 4th he still had revs left and carried on going but didnt leave me like he expected going by his face.
Also I think it was a tiptronic as I think it sounded like it changed down a cog when he booted it.
420hp, 1600kg the 996 turbo is isnt it, so result was as I expected, but surely not as he expected lol.
997 turbo with pdk is a complete nother ball game, I wouldnt want to embarrass myself lol

dont think quick blast in one gear a good comparison, get a bit giddy with the ko4 thing sometimes :signLOL: as for the seats, would not want to sit in back, buy a second car for when you need rear seats :happy2:
