Wet boot floor on pass side 06 gti 3 door??

I too have this problem

Do your rear washers work ok?
Sometimes the washer pipe can become detatched on it's path the the rear of the car.

^^^^ Yeah, what he said... My boyfriend had this problem but it was his interior lining (C-pillar?) on the passenger side that got wet, not the boot. Apparently it was due to c**p screenwash? Who knows

My boot has a bit of damp in it so I went on e bay and got one of the rubber boot mats, have only had it in a very short time, so do not know if it has worked yet or not, keeps the stuff in the boot from rolling around though!

how do you find the washer pipe??

Surely this will just cover up not prevent the leak. But yes they are good to stop bits rolling.

A known issue is problems with the rear seals. This can result in water getting into the boot or the rear light cluster. Best advice is to empty the boot, line it with newspaper, then get busy with a hosepipe or jetwash. You'll soon know whether it's the seals or a washer hose!

We have had cars at work (main dealer) having poor rear end repairs around the bumper brackets. You'll need to remove rear bumper and you'll see where it is coming in.
