Title: Sprint Blue Audi S3
Post by: xht20 on June 14, 2010, 01:03:34 am: Hy guys, this is my S3.

Mods so far:
- Sachs Performance Clutch with SMF
- Milltek decat TBE non-resonated
- EVOMS V-Flow intake
- NGK BKR7EIX sparks
- Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
- Michelin PS3 on BBS CH
- Bilstein B8
- Ferodo DS2500 pads
- Revo Stage 2

Future plans:

- Forge Twintercooler (this week it will be on the car)
- Bilstein B16 PSS10 (in about 2 months it will be on the car)
- APR HPFP (in 2 weeks it will be on the car)
- AP Racing BBK (they are the last on the mod list)
- Quaife LSD (i've ordered it/ hoping i will get it this month)
- HPA Haldex Controller (in about 2 months)

This is all i remember now. I will keep you informed about the progress of the car

Really interested to hear about this.

At the beginning it was difficult because the pedal feel is much stronger than stock clutch, but now i'm used to it. At idle it has a chatter, but i like it, i like mechanical sounds. Under 6500rpm the gear changes are ok, between 6500 and 7400rpm it doesn't shifts so smooth, i have to push a little bit harder. But i found out that this can be fixed. I don't know the English term for this, but you make an adjustment to the springs on the shift for fork (hope i explained corectly).

Tomorrow is the big day, i will mount the Forge Twintercooler. I could have mounted it today, but the local dealer didn't knew that the hoses from twintercooler to ic are different from GTI to S3. Initially he gave me the twintercooler with GTI hoses, but they do not fit so I had to wait to receive another pair of hoses all the way from UK.

Stage 2+ (with HPFP) will output about 380 ponnies. :)

A dyno chart will come after Stage 2+.

PS: nice ride mate, I just love it, and it sounds incredible! ;)

Below is a dyno graph of fuscobal's GTI with Forge twintercooler; exterior temperature of 13 degrees Celsius; 382CP/471.6Nm.

@jules86: a friend of mine bought them from ebay. You buy another DRL light that has LEDs on it, not simple yellow light. i don't know how to explain it better

Does this not throw up the light issue (on the display) as the car thinks the bulb is blown?

I just received my VF Enginering engine mounts.

And also the car will receive something special. It's about a custom exhaust for S3 made by Blueflame with full Revo spec. It has a complex design and i can't explain it because my English si not so good. I talked to Revo dealer of Romania and there are only 2 exhausts like this made until now. One it belongs to the S3 of Revo and it is resonated version, and the second one is reserved to me and it is "race" version, non-resonated with 100cell race cat.

I'm so happy. I will put pictures when i receive it. About next week. :drool: :drool:
