Title: LPG converted TFSI pics added
Post by: Janner_Sy on June 15, 2010, 06:06:03 pm
right then guys.

anyone done it.

Id be interested to know how an LPG system would work on a remapped car.  what additional work would be required etc etc.

potential probs?  potential plus points?  potential costs etc etc

someone on briskoda thinks jabba have mapped a car for LPG before so maybe they could get some input.

If it really is feasable i hink it could be a good future mod, provided there int power loss etc

I guess performance will vary model to model but i think the best bet is the enquire with anyone whos done one. Ring jabba and see what they have to say. who knows they may have one you can test run

I know there's a guy on th VXR forums who has a LPG Stage 3 Astra VXR and a LPG Stage 3 Zafira GSI both running software, exhaust and FMIC mods. When put on the rollers and 1/4 strip they both give results that are within a gnats cock of what he gets when he switches back to super unleaded..

now we need to find out who can map these to run higherpower in LPG and unleaded guise.

Most LPG systems will use a separate ECU to control the LPG element of the system.
