Just thought I'd say hello as I've been observing and learning so much over the past few weeks.
I bought a black 3 door Mk5 DSG in December 2006, having previously owned an A3 3.2 Quattro, an Alfa 156 and a Golf VR6. I loved the Mk5, but I felt that mileage was getting a little high at 55k, so I started looking around and a few weeks ago found a great example... pearl black, 5 door, DSG, cream leather, 18" Monza's, winter pack etc and 19k miles. Absolutely love it.
Don't kick me out, but I think it's perfect as it is so sorry, I won't be doing any mods!

Nah, But seriously, when I bought my Mk5 I said the only thing I wanted to do to it was colour code the plastic trim... If you speak to our postman you will soon realise that this is not the case anymore!

Hello
I`m quite new here myself, seem to spend ages looking through threads and not posting much.
I too said no mods on my recently aquired Mk5 as I`ve blown loadsa money on modding previous cars, I thought I`d grown up. Not the case, just fitted an armrest kit and now I`m scouring the forums for my next sensible mod.
Thats right, sensible mods only from now on :innocent:

REVO is sensible! :notworthy:

Let's see if this upload works (technically inept, sorry!)...Just a couple of photos before the mods begin!
