Title: Windscreen wipers for 2005 golf

Hi does anyone know where I can get some good quality wipers from without
paying dealer prices.  Has anyone bought the ones from eBay which are selling for £9.99
and if so are they anygood.

I don't remember the dealer ones being particularly expensive. Think I paid around £25-30 for the pair, compared to £22 or so from halfrauds.

I bought the ones from ebay for £9.99. Not surprisingly, they're crap! I then bought Halfords own brand ones and they were also crap.

Stick with the dealer stuff, it'll be cheaper in the long run  :happy2:

Get them from the dealer especially as the design changed during the MY05 run i.e. you may buy the wrong ones from a non-VW source.

I agree with the above, ebay can be a false economy sometimes!

The design changed in 2006, the year not the MY

The wipers were £12.44 (ish) each when I bought them from VW a couple of months ago.

Thanks for all the feedback. , will definatly order some from Vw
sometimes non oem parts seem to be better but a in this case  I'll take yout advices.
