Title: wheel dilemma!!

Just buckled a rim!!

I have a set of bbs ch reps that i never got round to fitting that i can put on. had them near 6 months!! only thing is. ive just noticed that there an 8.5 rim and not an 8!

will a 8.5 x 18 et 42 wheel fit the Gti?

Need a quick answer lads..

yes  it will fit but will rub quite bad.  :happy2:

i thot that it might stick out the wheel arch aswel??

Well just tried it, didnt even lower my car to the ground. its about 5-10mm clear of the shocker. so think it will rub big time! back to the drawing board!
