Title: Oop's.... I've reversed into a stupid Manchester council granite block! grr!

I was working in Manchester on Monday and stupidly reversed into one of those low level street furniture items.. you know the ones.. they are set low down to avoid drivers seeing them when moving about streets!!! oh and in general located inthe most awkward of places.. bitter? who me? noo...

Anyone got thoughts on the best place to get this looked at and thoughts on price? I don't want to put it through my insurance

Doesn't look good. Personally I'd say your going to need a new door skin along with primer and painting and blending into the wing. It's a bit hard to tell the damage to the wing but that may need filling or a new wing along with a new skirt.

The major problem is the sill, I personally wouldn't have a clue about how you'd go about that as it looks pretty bad so you're probably best getting down to a body shop and getting there opinion on it before your paying out.

If your in or near Manchester I would give Panel care in Rochdale a call. They painted my replica GTi bumper and it looks  :happy2: Its family run and great service

looks like door panel, front fender and lower panel needs replacing  :sad1:
