Right guys im looking for the best brake upgrades for my gt tdi 2006 with remap!!!
nothing too expensive but just looking to get more stopping power now that i feel my brakes feel a bit too spongy.
audi brakes?r32 brakes?porsche brakes,ive got genuine 18" scirocco interlagos alloys on the car(cant remember sizes)
whats involved with these,parts required,how much?

Daveb1970 is your man for brakes. If you are just wanting a base upgrade then the Cupra/S3/TT front brake upgrade with braided lines and DOT5.1 fluid and DS2500 pads is a good starting point. Cupra brakes would mean the calipers stay red. Alternatively Daveb is currently looking at the Porsche brake upgrade, which looks pretty good for the price.

6 pots with 390mm discs should be able to stop you :wink:

All depends on budget and useage I guess....
Heres the thread for the Porsche Stuff Im currently working on.
Excellent results on road and track so far, its gone a little quiet but around 6 pairs of calipers in for refurb at the mo and around 10-12 kits sold so far, interestingly theres some people changing from big BBKs to these so that thread will be back on page 1 fairly soon
