The spoiler on the ed30 is scuffed .think id like to get it painted ,is it a bugger to remove TIA
-
no, just a few screws on the bottom and it pulls out.
-
not on an ed30 joe you need to take bumper off and then push the tabs on the inside of the bumper to get it off
-
really! thats gay!
-
you dont unscrew yours anyway you just rip it off while driving :driver:

You dont mat. You need to take out 1x lowest screw in each front wheel arch, then about 8 screw running along the bottom of the splitter.
Then you can pull it off.
Ive done this about 3-4 times
Fitting is the opposite of the removal, and is pretty easy if its centered correctly...
Taking the splitter off when the bumper is off is a nightmare as you need to pull the splitter quite hard, and this increases the risk of damaging paint all round. If the bumper is fixed to the car, you have some solidarity to work with ;)

Sorry a bit off topic - Is it safe to assume that the same method applies to a gti front splitter? A case of removing the 10 screws mentioned?
Thanks
