Hey guys
been quoted £400 to spray my bumper, do we think thats a reasonable price.. i know the guy & his work is top notch but im just wondering on the price
-
which bumper and what are you having done?
Sounds too high to me. I'd expect £300 max for a top job
-
It's on the high side of things which Is fine if you know their work is spot on.
-
Is there any filler or repair work required, or is it just a colour change/touch up over stone chips?
As a guide, I spray my own cars, and using the best DuPont products the cost for materials would be £65 at the very utmost, factor in an extra £35 (which is excessive!) for facilities/staff if this is a professional bodyshop.
£300 is a lot of labour!
-
I paid less than that to have my front splitter, skirts, and rear bumper sanded primered and painted to match!
And I just paid only £100 to have my new rear bumper sprayed.
-
its rear bumper.. it does seem high but i know there work is spot on.. just wanted to get a feel for a rough price i should be paying

Definately high end of the scale though, where abouts do you live? I would get a few more quotes and then get back to them, could probably get them down to £200 for it really imo. :happy2:
