Title: rear ARB upgrade or TT lower arms
Post by: Janner_Sy on June 25, 2010, 10:48:42 pm
Trackday for next month is about to get booked.  so far coming with me is a 385Hp focus RS, 335Hp impreza WR1, and a very tweaked EVO FQ330.

So just so im not lagging behind to far on the day ive got myself a new intake, im ordering some hankook RS2 Z212 track tyres and  want to fit something chassis wise so i can get a better turn in and power out earlier.

So do i go for a rear ARB, im thinking along the lines of the BSH 27mm rear arb, or do i go for the TT lower control arms for the extra camber, both will be done some time after this trackday but i want to do one of them before

Discuss!!

Rear arbs will be better bang for buck, if you dont have any other suspension mods back on yet.  :happy2:

The ARBs were my favourite mod from before, so im quite tempted, but im thinking being able to run that extra half degree camber, with track tyres will make urn in immense.  Id be fitting it with the superpro castor bushes as well

thing is what ARB would you choose, i liked the eibachs but i hink hey were aibit to neutral for me, id have liked a more lively rear end

i have an intake sorted mate :happy2:  that one is 3" so would give dodgy MAF readings and the car would be permanently adapting

ive been given a brand new pipercross enclosed intake.  not the prettiest looking thing, but its free, has the correct sized MAF housing, and is bound to free up a few horsepower and let me hold torque for longer
