Title: MFD2 iPod Connection
Post by: em2evol on June 28, 2010, 12:54:37 pm
Hi guys

I got an iPod Touch for my birthday yesterday  :jumpmove: and would like to use it in my car... I currently have the MFD2 sat nav with CD changer in the armrest... Is there a way I can keep my current set up but somehow plug my iPod in (i.e. in the glovebox)?

TIA

I think there is a cable you can get which allows you to run both but I can't see why you would want to. The iPod does more than the CD so if I was you I'd look at changing the cd changer for the ipod adpater.

I would just add an aux in directly to the MFD2  :happy2:

Am also interested in doing this, I have an mfd2 in a 55 plate gti and am looking for maximum fuctionality with the ipod, and preferably track display in the highline.

Can anyone recommend me the best/right lead to go for?

p.s anyone got any MFSW buttons for sale?

Thanks
