Title: Inters results are in...
Post by: tony_danza on June 28, 2010, 02:35:18 pm
Link (http://www.theresults.co.uk/gti_international_results.html)

Given my best time of 5.28/13.50 in Wilko's MKIV is faster than the next best MKIV, I'm claiming 2nd in class as he beat me by a tenth (allegedly!) Not bad for 95k sh*tter of a more door.

Ahh cool I didn't know they posted the results like that. Seems like they didn't move Hurdy to class X then. Oh, and who is Jonny Crocker meant to be?

He's Jonny's America cousin, The Stig has one too.

That was Milltek's Golf R (they re-used my number) that ran 13.44.

As for the other Mk6 like Matt said the time was wrong, if you look at the full list (excel file) you will see his other times in the 15's

I'm in the Highly Moddified class mate  :signLOL:  as I had Revo plates on my car.. Bit hot for my OEM cooler (29oC) and software still adapting from being put on at the show, so just a mesley 5.00 & 13.3 for me  :sad1:
I'm pretty sure once there's a few more miles on it and on a cooler day it will easily see 12's at the Pod (where it counts  ). Definately feels stronger than it did before, so we'll see on the 22nd August

Cheers mate. Think the car may still be in old man 95 ron mode for a bit until it's gets use to me again  Looking forward to getting it back down Pod to see the difference the S2+ etc has made. Just hope it's not 30oC next time though..
Milltek's R has TBE and yes it's mapped mate.

Haha!! Maybes they thought Cocker was a bit rude?!

Either way.. To be that close to the top of the 0-60 times is pretty fun considering it's a 1450kg bloater!!..

Next time it runs I'm going for a 10!! Lots of work to do.. :D
