Title: Vw dealer service
Post by: s4lek on June 29, 2010, 02:30:34 pm
Hi , I've just booked my 2005 gti in for a service next week.
The price they quoted with discount is £322.
To carry out the follwing :
dsg oil and filter
engine oil and filter
sparks
fuel filter.

Just wanted to know does the price sound
too much or is it reasonable.

If that is a quote from a london dealer then i think it sounds ok.
Be cheeky and ask them to throw in a brake fluid service and they've got a deal.  :happy2:

I'm from north Wales , so it's been booked in at Wrexham.
Chester Vw quoted me £400 for the same service.

looks like a fair price to me, especially if you have specified longlife oil.

I never specified any oil.  I better ring them back up and tell them.
