Glad to see you got it on so easy.

I can't take the credit for its design, one of JonnyC's mates did the calcs and they adapted the custom S pipe onto an EVOMS bend. Certainly did the trick on my car!

Get some open fogs or holesaw yours, Paul, and channel a pipe up from the nearside one to the airbox with a deflector plate to ensure no water splash gets sucked up.

Ant, sorry chap but you can recreate one easily enough with some DEI Gold Wrap on a known good intake & heatshield and it'll be a decent enough subsitute.

No worries mate, think ive now got something lined up as a result of this thread :)
Weird how my work seems to block some photobucket images but not others tho!

....Hopefully you've wrapped the gold tape on the underside of the heatshield! That's where the heat needs reflecting from above the hot turbo.

Yes, it's wrapped both sides, Robin.

^^^^ :happy2:

I only wrapped my heatshield on the underside. Only dead bunnies get to see my golden goodies.

I thought it was wrapped both? Then again I didn't fit or remove, so could have just assumed? I may have some left over tape about.

Yes, EVOMS bend, shield & airbox - rest is custom & K&N.
