Looks good mate, nice price, it will let you have a few quid to refurb the wheels.
BUT check out his name ...... Mr Sweeney..... thats why the alloys are scuffed, he chases villains. lol :signLOL:
go for it . HPI it first though
-
Looks nice mate, best colour too IMHO!! :P
What happened to the sale then fella? :scared:
-
The owner..... Kits Candy had his car sold without him even knowing that his wife had sold it to someone else :stupid:
Id table a bid of £16500 and let me sweat Dwayne
Do your HPI checks again and check reg details with your mate at vw :happy2:
-
I wouldnt touch that with a BARGE POLE!!!!
..cos.... :star:
I was thinking of going to look myself :pomppomp:
but, then realised sadly, its too much of a leap right now ,....so I probably wont.
looks nice though and a comforting level of detail in the ad too!
-
ok thanks lads for the replies .......... just 1 thing iv found wrong is its a 3dr was idealy after a 5dr as there easier lol
any others you see or know of being sold im more than willing to have a look 3dr or 5dr with similar spec red black or white are realy the only colors i like :happy2:
-
This is a really good one http://www.breeze-volkswagen.co.uk/sales/used_car_sales/used_cars_more_info.php?searchID=1&id=4729
-
cheers nasir.... i guess i had a gd deal with the 1 that flopped coz it had an unbelievable spec
-
It seems to be working out for the better, that one above doesn't seem a bad spec either, very low mielage plus an extended warranty. Did you ring about the white one?
-

opinions on this please people could get it cheaper as mate works for vw
-
^^^^
I thought your heart was set on a sweet Candy White, Dwaine.
-
Looks like a well specced car but price is on the high side for an 07
-
All good except its the colour last on your want list. Be Patient dear fella :signLOL:
-
Quite expensive. Drivers seat bolster looks well worn, and the sat nag is the MFD2 version ( no HD).
plus side it has xenons and MFSW etc, but options should not add a great deal to the price, it adds virtually nothing to a trade in value. Best colour though.
-

I agree. I think it's a bit steep for the age. I'd expect a 57 plate 08 car for that money.
-
ok thanks for the opinions people :happy2:
i no im gettin impatient steve iv got money burning a hole in my pocket
and my colour list goes like this Candy white, Black and Red are in joint position :signLOL: then Grey
but i cant find a good spec'd car or decent CW one anywere :sad1:
-

one of the last Ed30s. Your paying for the later Plate, no xenons,Same again with no highline and mfsw. Can be retrofitted but could be pricy.
-
ok cheers steve wot bout the 1 nasir posted for me ??..... all it needs is exnons which can be retro fitted :happy2:

i feel like a kid in a candy shop(eager and impatient) :signLOL:
-
The first white one you posted up from Piston Heads, it states GAP Insurance untill 2011 ... With GAP, it stays with the owner and the car so when the car is sold on the GAP will not apply to the new owner, so it expires. Just thought I'd let you know incase you didnt already know.
Go for a Candy White ED30, it's the best colour
-
wow didnt know that cheers for the info becca
and CW is the colour im after but there hard 2 find
-
Not a biggie anyway but it's sold now (the CW one)
-
wow CW 1's dont hang around long do they :sad1:
mite have to just get another metallic black 1 :signLOL:
-
No problem. they are hard to find but will you really be satisfied if you get another colour if you have had your heart set on a CW 1? ill keep an eye out for you, we have a vw dealer within the same group as i work for, il ask them to let me kno if one comes in, someone took one there to be valued last week so that may come in as p.ex soon, ill keep you informed :-)

Nice car mate, but my opinion is that that is too much money to be spending on the car as you are dangerously close to the MK6 GTI... I've seen a few of those around the 20/21k mark, and whilst I know thats 18k or so... You get my point...
So you see a 2008 MK5 GTI vs a 2010 MK6 GTI with £3k difference, to me the MK6 takes the show.
-
^^^ this is very true seanyk will deffo have to look about and have a think.............. im veering more towards another DBP car as like you say CW 1's go for ridiculous money coz there rare as fook
thanks for your advice/ opinion sean
-
No worries at all man, It's so varied to find the right car at the right price.
I'll keep check of this thread to see what you buy :)
-
no probs when i finally get 1.... ill be pic whoring anyway :signLOL:

....No contest if the 08 Mk5 GTI is an Edition 30 - I wouldn't have to think twice about choosing the mk5 rather than mk6, but we're all different in our preferences.
-
Did you catch my post re this one? Just for info...
