Title: What dressing for gti grill?
Post by: keano on July 04, 2010, 12:53:25 pm
Hey guys,

Recentently purchased the Ed.30 below. Im having trouble finding a product to make the grille look like new. Notice the bottom 2 fog light grilles.

Any suggestions?

(sorry for iphone pic quality)

The other grilles have been painted differently, hence the different finish.

You mean dimpled finish and not smooth finish??

Either way, mine a plastic and black, and i use Back to black to keep them looking fresh  :stupid:

Only the mk6 has a gloss upper section, and Black Plastic lower grills.

Depending on how glossy you want them to be...

Black Wow for a slightly shinier finish
http://www.autoperfection.com/shop/Black-Wow-Plastic-Trim-Dressing-4oz.html

Poorboys Natural Look Dressing for a more satin finish
http://www.autoperfection.com/shop/Poorboys-Natural-Look-Dressing-16oz.html

Autoperfection Tyre and Trim Dressing for the finger-saving option (just spray on and leave, rather than having to poke your finger in each of the honeycomb sections!)

Hope this helps
