Title: help needed fitting Pipercross viper please...
Post by: Pullafacial on July 05, 2010, 03:59:27 pm
Hi all,

I fitted my viper induction kit this afternoon but can't see where to route the pipe to get a good cold air feed.
Currently i'm running it without the pipe so guess i'm sucking up loads of warm air.

Also, I expected it to give my engine a bit more of a "gruntier" sound but it sounds pretty much the same.

Any help appreciated...

did u take the filter out of the stock engine cover first ? and just put the air feed down to the nsf foglight cover but cut some holes in the cover

Yeah took stock filter out, will try and route down to foglamp.
Not sure if I like the idea of cutting holes though!

just drill some of the little cut outs in the foglight covers out  nice and easy to do
