Title: My 08 Steel Grey GTI
Post by: fenny on July 06, 2010, 01:53:58 pm: I finally fitted some new wheels last night as I just couldn't live with 17's anymore! Thought I'd post a couple of pics!

I need some spacers for the back as these are et54 BBS 2 piece splits from an A3 and don't sit far enough out for my liking!

I don't want to go the whole hog with coil-overs etc, but would like a spring kit that doesn't compromise the cars abilities? I don't want to make any further mods after that, except perhaps a remap and a bit of colour coding here and there!

100% with jay on these if you dont want to splash cash on coilovers :smiley:

Springs are about £150 from memory plus about £100 fitting! :happy2:

Invalidate the warranty on the springs you take off maybe but nothing else! :happy2:
