Ordered new coil packs and want to change the spark plugs to be safe.
My dealer has them listed as 06h905611 for my car which are around £45. He said there are 6 different versions for the gti which is now putting me off ordering the far cheaper bosch oem's off the internet which dont list vag part numbers
Anyone know the facts on this??
Thanks
Ryan

Not sure, but I replaced them with NGK Spark plugs at the same time as the coil packs and its made a big difference in the feel of the drive of the car.
A few people on here run NGK's

The colder versions or the direct replacements?

I went for direct replacements and I really felt a difference. I did fit the newer type F coil packs at the same time though.....
Seem to remember someone saying not to bother with the colder plugs unless major mods are made.

What year is your gti? Mine is 2005 axx engine which was apparently the last year of the proper fsi which may be the reason for the different plugs

MY06 and the full set of NGK's were approx £28 :happy2:
