Since buying the Cayman, I have been looking for a Daily, and something to do the load carrying if required.
Bought this for £900, FSH, 125K miles, aircon (works well), all original Anni bits, came with a boot load of brand new VW OEM parts, 4 new falken tyres, loads of history, Interior is like brand new. one of only 150 16V anni's imported into the UK. I am the 3rd owner.
Drove it home and it gave 38MPG! Cam belt has been changed twice in its life, but I will do it again soon, just for peace of mind.
Great car, wheels need some love (BBS Splities!), brakes need a bit of paint, couple of rust spots, and it has Tax and test till Oct!
Quick few pics.

Wax is happening this weekend, drop will not happen. Would like to try and return it back to pristine/OEM+.
Wheels are first to get the treatment............
-
Ps the car is standard, including the Front splitter.
-
You know you wish you was low like me!! :pomppomp:
:booty:
-
So the anni's must have come with the vr6 splitter then.

Cheers Keith.
I have had a few 2nd dibs on it! Quite a few from here and a couple at work.
@ Joe, at least has got the Arch liners fitted!
-
Looking good Dave, red seat belts - proper thing!
-
That's awesome Dave
-
See if SteveP wants to buy your reg plate, might get your money back dave
-
Very Nice :congrats:
-
nice classic

Having seen this car in the flesh, all I can say is it's an excellent car for the money. Nice honest original motor :happy2:
Not as nice as the Porker next to it though........
-
Spent £15 on it today. New OEM plugs and 3 new wiper blades, sourced a set of refurbed splities. Replaced the battery tray at the weekend, the previous owner had bought a new OEM part, and gave it to me.
Rear brake discs next. £12 each! Cheap motoring!
-
Stuff all that, I want to see the post wash and wax pics!!
Oh, and I was first dibs! :booty: :P
-
reminds me of my little Mk3 anni
-
Nice motor, and sounds like it is going to get some proper treatment. Almost a shame its high mileage, otherwise it would be a little minter. :congrats:

It's low mileage for it's age!
-
Were those wheels any good Dave?
-
I really like that Dave. Very tidy buy for less than a grand! Doesn't appear visually as thought it's done 125k.
With any luck, bearing in mind the number plate, Shaun Wright-Phillips will buy it for a lot more than £900 when you're done with it

not quite an anni but my 8v

Well happy.
Just changed the rear wheel bearings 2 weeks ago, new set of front brake pads, and shoved it through an MOT. The parts cost me less than a £100, and TBH it didn't need new wheel bearings, just a tighten up would have done, but got them cheap (all parts OEM from the local VW Trade Counter)
12 months ticket first time! Nil advisories............
Well happy!
Emissions are well low too.
