Not sure, I'm no expert BTW - but I've had a few tough lessons last week that may help!

The Porsche ones, is the PCD correct - 5x112? what size are they, eg 345x28? The offset is very important too, it can't be more than about 15mm.

I'd be surprised if you can make the Porker discs work. The easiest way might be to mate them to some R32 discs with custom carriers??

I'm no expert either but i do know porsche pcd is 130 not 112 so i think you will need carriers fabricated to get them to fit mate.

i am sure you asked me about these the other day and said you would need the carriers  :signLOL: but i think awesome could get u ones that go on the ecs stage 5 kit as i think they would work but ask awesome first before you buy the brakes

Porkers are 5x130 and looking at spares on the 'net the offset seems quite big, so I don't think the discs will work.

Can't find what size they are though to know what to match them to.

i knew id need new carriers but i also thought the discs would work! ive sent sarah a few emails but no reply, might just call andy up tomorrow.

Oh, i have won the auction but not yet paid, so if they wont fit, im not honering the sale.

ECS won't sell you the carriers, I've asked in the past.

You might find you can use the ones from the optional Leon Brembos, along with the discs - as porker calipers are Brembo, right?

I think you'll only be able to use the calipers and pads, so there's probably another £500+ to spend. I've also heard that some big brake conversions dont have a good feel (soft pedal feel) due to the master cylinder being small than the original.

Joe, just get the R32 setup - you know it works and its cheaper in the long run by the sounds of it.

Honestly - by the time you've bought discs, carriers, hoses and paid all the labour to make them work you'll have spent WAY more than £250..

Ditch them and get something you know fits & works.

Can you get aftermarket discs/pads/hoses for the R32 brakes??

You could have some brake bling afterall Joe, just order the bits you need off Matt and cobble the rest together. Big set of 345 grooved discs and some DS2500s  :happy2:

Joe, you on UK-MKVS?

PM a guy by the name of DaveB1970 - he can lay hit mitts on all manner of refub'd Porsche/Brembo calipers & carriers and knows what OEM stuff they can be matched to.
